Experience
Dr Dave Carmody is a Fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) with a certificate in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He has previously trained at the University of Melbourne and then at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital and Eastern Health. He has a broad range of experiences in both general psychiatry, Child & Adolescent psychiatry and long-term psychotherapy.
Since 2020, Dr Carmody has provided independent psychiatric assessments and medicolegal opinions for a range of legal, compensation and administrative matters. His work includes assessments for personal injury, workplace injury, and related compensation schemes, with reports prepared for use by solicitors, insurers, tribunals and other decision-makers.
